The village of Hoxne were holding a Coronation event, as last year they had organised a Platinum Jubilee event. The start was The Swan Pub where around 50 cars met for 10am. There were classic cars of all descriptions and most squeezed on to the pub car park with some on the road. Two of our Branch cars attended this event and Rob and Ali had said hello to the members going on the Ipswich to Felixstowe Run at Asda car park before they arrived at Hoxne. 11am and it was time for the off with our printed map of the route around the lovely Suffolk countryside. The weather started off damp, but the afternoon got out to be rather hot.
We ended the run at the Hoxne Village Hall where there were other cars which added to the display. There was also some entertainment, a barbecue and tea and cake. A lovely day out and something different to do for the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
