This year the Branch was represented by 9 vehicles on the run (8 Minors and a Rover), all meeting at Asda Supermarket in Ipswich, enabling us to travel in convoy to Christchurch Park. It was lovely to see everyone wandering around admiring all the cars and waving us off on our journey to Felixstowe sea front. Claire and Matthew led the convoy with us all following, tooting our horns and waving to the crowds that had gathered along the route, especially through Trimley outside the pubs. Once the vehicles were safely parked on the Prom the obligatory fish and chips were eaten and enjoyed. The weather was sunny and warm, so out came the chairs and an enjoyable afternoon was had chatting to people admiring the cars and also strolling along to admire the others. One member even had a swim in the sea!
