For the third year running we had a stand at the Classic Vehicle Rally and Country Fayre at Earsham Hall near Bungay. Despite the weather being wet, there were seven cars on our stand. The rain stayed with us until the afternoon when we had glorious sunshine and more of the public turned out to view around 300 cars. When the weather is good there is usually an attendance of 500.
At this event there was lots for the family to see with auto jumble, craft and plant stalls. You can even take a tour around Earsham Hall and look at their furniture shop. Among the vehicles on display were tractors, American Cars and just over from us was a Military Morris Minor Traveller. There was also a full programme of music to be heard throughout the day and the weather did not damp the performers spirits.
Thank you to our members Martin, Sian, Chris, Brian and Jacky, Penny and Tricia and Jimmy who brought a Pick-up, two Saloons, a Million, a Traveller and a Convertible along with a Morris Marina. We were also very thankful for our Branch tent on this occasion.
