On one of the hottest days of the summer we had a stand at Elveden Country Show and Festival of Dogs. This year we were joined by some other classic cars and were situated at the edge of the event field next to the model aeroplane display.
There were dogs in attendance, but some ring events for them had been cancelled due to the heat. Other displays included horses and motorbikes in the main ring with alpacas in another. Some of us had a go on the archery stand and others took advantage of the food and drinks stalls.
We had another competition of guessing the squares, this time all dog names, but we did not get a very good response, so we carried this over to other events. The numbers of visitors to the event was down this year because of the heat and a World Cup football match being played on the day. We left early because the heat was getting too much for some of us.
