This event at Stonham Barns is popular with members every year and this year we topped 30 vehicles on our stand. It was a turn-out of nearly half of our Branch members and we were joined again this year by four cars from Uttlesford Branch. Mary and Gary Seaman, Secretary and Chairman of Essex Branch also joined us plus we had members from North Norfolk, Cambridge and other Essex Branch members join us. Stonham is always the place to attract new members and this time was no exception with two joining us on the day and two prospective members taking forms away with them.

We had visits from other Branch members who were on the field in the form of Maria Wood, Ton Kolvoort and Nigel and Ann Baker-Querelle, who we look forward to seeing back at events in 2024. We also caught up with Daniel Streeter who told us that our Branch member Michael Whatling had passed away earlier in the year.

Thanks to Jimmy and Jacky we sold all of our charity squares which this time were villages of Norfolk and Suffolk, mainly where our members lived. The winner was Ray from around the rally field who very kindly donated his winnings of £20 to our charity Upbeat, so, a total of £111-00 was raised on the day. We caught up with Bryan Gostling who had a stall in the autojumble section too.

If we go again next year we will need an even bigger space for our Branch cars.
