Twenty-three members attended our Christmas Buffet at Parkview Chapel. We had two tables laden with plates of food that members had brought for us to enjoy. Even though Jacky and Brian couldn’t be at the meeting they very kindly sent some Mulled wine. While we were eating Tricia had brought a quiz for members to do and the answers were all colours. The winners with 20 out of a possible 24 were Audrey, Anthony and Wendy, so well done to them.
Next Carolyn and John handed us some Christmas stockings with five spares from a Morris Minor for us to guess. There were five bags in total each from a different part of the car. We all had great fun trying to guess what they were by only feeling the part! The sinners with 23 out of 25 were Dave, Polly, Jimmy and Tricia and they received some chocolates. Mary had suggested that we bring along a photo of us as a baby/toddler so we could try and guess who they were. This was very popular, with Carolyn winning with 12 out of 15 correct.
For all those members attending we handed out a Christmas card with a scratch card inside and we have heard of a least two winners. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.
