7th July 2024 – North Norfolk Railway Transport Event, Holt

This is another event that our members like to attend every year, so, we booked a Club stand at the Transport Event at Holt Station. This year however, the weather had been very wet the week before the event and some members cancelled, but those that did go had to park anywhere they could around the Station, as the field we usually park on was flooded. We all had a ride on the trains, either steam or diesel, into Sheringham where we had lunch. The North Norfolk Branch were at the Weybourne Station as usual and we stopped off to have a look at them too.

Dodging the showers some of us went on a vintage bus into Holt, before heading home. Maybe next year it will be a bit drier!
