Nine cars made it to Elsing Hall on the bank holiday Sunday, where we joined around 50 other classic cars at their Classic Car Show. There were lots of stalls with refreshments available and the gardens around the Hall were open for the National Garden Scheme again this year. The weather was lovely and the sun shined all day. It was nice of catch up with Andrew, one of our members who lives at Elsing, who also had a stall at the show.
We also caught up with Jane and Andrew who we haven’t seen for a while. It was a lovely day with great company. There was a prize for the People’s Choice and this was awarded to the owner of a 1933 Singer who had a giant teddy bear in the back – I am sure that swayed the voting!
