We had a total of ten vehicles on our stand at Stonham Barns. Nine Morris Minors (one Austin) and a Morris Oxford MO. Of the nine vehicles there were two Convertibles, three Saloons, three Travellers and a Pick-up.

There were twenty-five other car clubs with stands on the show ground and we were amongst around 600 cars that were present on the rally field.  Included in the other car clubs were the Vauxhall Cresta Owners Club, the East Anglian Micro Car Club and the Whole Happy Family Crew! On the Morris Marina and Ital Owners Club stand was one of our members Martin Wallis, who had deserted us for the day although he did pop in for a cup of tea.

The parade ring was busy all day with the Suffolk Landrovers Owners Club, SERV Bloodrunners and the Phoenix K9 Dog Agility each doing a display.  There was also a classic car parade.

There was certainly a lot for people to do as there was also an autojumble and the Stonham Barns shopping complex to look at, as well as a car boot sale. Music played throughout the day and we only had a little drizzle and the rest of the day was lovely sunshine.

Next to us on a stand was the yellow three-wheeler of Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses as well as Mr Bean’s Mini. Mr Bean was sitting on top of his Mini all day and even went around the ring on it!

We raised a further £17 towards our Marie Curie total and we welcomed a new member. The event was very well organised and all of our members enjoyed the day. Thanks to all of our members who came along and supported the Branch.
