Our speaker from East Coast Truckers was unable to attend our meeting, so now we have arranged for Jackie Noy to come to our February meeting. We spoke about what events we would like to attend in 2020 and members were thanked for attending events during 2019.
They were also thanked for raising the total of £769-00 for fund-raising over the past year. This enabled the Branch to be able to donate £600 to Lowestoft RNLI. We also raised £109 at the MMOC National Rally at Kelmarsh Hall, Northampton which we donated to East Anglian Air Ambulance and £60 from a raffle at Granary Craft, Buxhall during our Branch picnic which we donated to the Museum for letting us hold it there. A round of applause was given by members and Tricia thanked them for raising this amount, which is a record for us.
A Football card was held and the winner was Ann Baker-Querelle who won £10 and donated it to our fund-raising for East Coast Truckers. So thanks Ann. During the meeting Trudy Mann’s daughter, Lottie-Mae drew her Mum’s Traveller. Well done Lottie-Mae.
