We had lovely sunny weather for our Branch picnic at Kersey Mill on 19th September. Eighteen members and guests came along in eight Morris Minors and one Austin. Our Treasurer Jacky and her husband Brian let the side down and came along in their modern car. We were joined on the day by Steve and Sally Card from the Essex Branch who came with our new member Maria Wood. It was nice to catch up with them again.
Over lunch we held a raffle and thank you to all those members who brought a raffle prize. We raised £40 for our charity East Coast Truckers.
After lunch we had a look around Kersey Mill and their complex of shops where members made some purchases and enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee. While we were there we were joined by Tim Childs with his white saloon. Tim joined the Branch on the day. Thank you to all those members who joined us on the day and hopefully they all got home before the rain came.
