31 members enjoyed our New Year lunch at The Four Horseshoes, Thornham Magna on 19th January. We had a room all to ourselves and most members chose the carvery of meat or fish, but we all enjoyed the food and company. Chris Mitchell kindly supplies crackers and we held a belated Secret Santa.
To fund-raise for East Coast Truckers we held a Football card and the winner was Alan Chapman who received £10, so well done to Alan. £31 was added to our fund-raising total. Our Vice-Chairman, Carolyn Hancock was presented with the “Member of the Year” shield by Chairman Mary Huggins.
Our previous Vice-Chairman, Wendy Talbot, chose this years recipient. We thank Mary Stannard for finding our venue for this year.
