We had a very good turn out of members who came along to take part in Terry Plummer’s presentation on Avoidance. We had four tables each set up with model cars with an accident scene. We split into groups and then we had to make our way round the tables until we had looked at each scenario.
We had to score each vehicle out of 6 for who could have avoided the accident. Judging by all the noise in the room there was a lot of discussion to be had on the subject! Once we had finished Terry gave us a slide show to point our what could have been done to prevent a collision. It wasn’t always the vehicle we thought could have avoided the crash, as although the other vehicles did not crash, they could have done something to avoid the situation.
Lou Chapman kindly went round with the pub card and the winner this time was Terry Huggins who guessed the correct pub name and Terry received the £10 prize money. So another £30 was raised for Norfolk Blood Bikes and thank you to all those members who took part. Thank you also to Chris and Jimmy for providing teas and Mary for her lovely cakes.
