A report and photos follows by John Hancock.
15 Minors, including one from the Essex Branch, attended the Stonham Barns Classic Car Show, which is one of the largest in East Anglia and attracts a vast variety of makes and models of vehicles.
Alongside the car show is a large Car Boot Sale and not forgetting the Stonham Barns complex and autojumble, which included Bryan Gostling, MMOC Spares Manager’s, stand. Next to the autojumble and new this year was a large marquee with radio-controlled model lorries and building plant which was very impressive.
Fortunately, the weather was fine all day with very little wind and the Branch gazebo was erected for shade. 81 charity squares were sold thanks to Jacky, Polly and Chris, in aid of Coastwatch, with Branch member Jacky winning £20, £10 of which she kindly donated back. We welcomed two new members to the Branch on the day, who both had saloons.
